Sibyl, thank you for the information. We most certainly are going to the Myers cemetery and we were advised to bring our brush cutters! I'm an ol cowgirl from Montana...so I don't think I'll have a problem with that :)

I think probably the most important part of the visit to Goliad Co will be the courthouse, because I want to look for some land records. My great grandmother Maud Myers was born near Pettus Tx, and my Schulze's apparently lived in Schroeder (and buried in Kilgore). Also we'll be going to Berclair.

Because they lived on county lines, I think this is going to be a bit confusing for us...finding the land records.
