My sister and I are attempting to trace our lineage to the Garcia & Carbajal families of Goliad. Our maternal Great-grandfather was Eucebio Garcia and a renowed violinist in the area. His wife was Estefana and we understand she was a Carbajal from Goliad, unfortunately she past on shortly after she gave birth to our grandmother Fidela (1902)and is buried in the cemetery behind the Goliad pesidio. Fidela was raised by her father and oldest sister Barbara. Other of our grandmothers cybiling names that I can recall from previous family recollections are Antonio, Juan, Trinidad, Maria, Nicanor, Pablo & Jesus.
