I know of a Ferdinand Hohenberger and his wife, Katherine Schultze, with their family arrived in Galveston on November 20, 1855. They first settled in Luckenbach and then relocated to an area about 1 1/2 miles south of Grapetown. Both Ferdinand and Katherine are buried on this farmstead, also buried are a Mrs. Rechenthin and a Mrs. Hagelman, they are believed to be sisters of Katherine.

I am interested in Mrs. Rechenthin, my ggrandfather arrived in Galveston October 17, 1866, his name is August Rechenthin. He married Louise Kanerz(not sure of this spelling) she was from Fredericksburg, Texas. I would like to find out if there is a connection with the Mrs. Rechenthin that is buried on the Hohenberger farmstead.
