Who Was "Teddy"?

I'm trying to find information on a soldier who was stationed at Ft. Crockett, Galveston, Texas in 1915. According to a love letter written to my grandmother, Maude Mae West he was attached to Company F, Fourth U.S. Infantry. The letter was dated March 16, 1915.

I also have a photo of the soldier, and on the back it says "Tuyo Siempre, Teddy". My grandmother was an actress and dancer with a vaudeville show called Dan Russell's Matinee Girls" and apparently they were doing a show in Galveston in March of that year.

I've always wondered who Teddy was. Any information on how to find more information on this soldier would be greatly appreciated. If my grandmother had married him instead of my grandfather, Homer Sidney Davis, I wouldn't be here!

Thanks in advance
