My cousin lives in Virginia and has asked me to help her obtain a copy of her grandfather's obituary. He died August 19, 1949, in Texas City. Is there a library there that might have microfilm copies of newspapers? The address where his death of natural causes was shown as 1214 6th Ave. South. Is that building still in existence? Any help will be appreciated.
