I am looking for information on a a family named SWANN. Only know two names at present. CROW SWANN, don't know if "CROW" is real name or "nickname", was born after Civil War, and have been tld he may be buried in Galveston area. May have died about 1910, +/- ten years. CROW was the father of JIM SWANN who died about 1910-15, while he was in his early 20's. Also, these folks and many otherss of their family were in Rusk, Cherokee, Orange, and Nacogdoches Counties, but I have found no information on them, except was told that CROW may have been part American Indian.
