Note surname is spelled Daniel on the following records, without the "s."

1880 census Freestone Co, TX:

Category: Name; Relationship to head of household; Marital Status; Gender; Race; Age; Birthplace; Occupation; Father's Birthplace; Mother's Birthplace.

J. E. DANIEL Self W Female W 47 TN House Keeping TN GA
W. D. DANIEL Son S Male W 26 TX SC TN
Martha DANIEL Son[sic] S Male W 23 TX SC TN
Anna DANIEL Dau S Female W 16 TX At School SC TN
Mary DANIEL Dau S Female W 9 TX At School SC TN

1870 census Freestone Co, TX:

Daniel, W.F., 58, b SC - no land shown/personal 500
" Josephia E., 36, b TN
" Willie D., 14, b TX
" Marth___, 13, b TX (male)
" Seaward, 11, b TX
" Fanny, 9, b TX
" Anna, 7, b TX
[note difference in age between W.F. and wife, probably second wife??]

1860 census Freestone Co, TX:

Daniel, W. F., 45, b SC - land 9,470/personal 32,525 [slaves?]
" Josephine, 28, b TN
" Francis R., 15, b AL
" Martha E., 12, b AL
" William D., 5, b TX
[I would say oldest children are from a previous marriage]

Go to Rootsweb's WorldConnect site -- http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi -- Type in Daniel, Mary, born 1871 + or - five years, spouse Harris. Others are working on this line and one has it back some more. Find out sources as sometimesthere thre are errors on this site. For example, it shows William Daniel born Edgefield, "Texas." I think it probably was meant to be Edgefield, SC, as SC is where it shows on census records, and I know there is a county in SC named Edgefield. You can share what you now know from census records for additional children in the family.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
