found the grave of Florence Riley Terry Cooper at Shiloh Cemetery south of Comanche,Tx. Still searching for info on her and Nathan's son Hugh Jackson Cooper, born aug 1886 in freestone co,tx who was dallas policeman in 1910, texas ranger in tyler in 1922.

I find nothing in census records etc after that time for him, but know that he was alive in the 1950's from family conversations back at the time.

My father was his only surviving son, although there was another who lived but a short time, a twin to my aunt, so I was told recently.

I have a picture of Hugh Jackson Cooper and all of his brothers both as children and as grown men in suits.
Isn't the internet a marvelous tool. and yet I've never laid eyes on him, and do not know where he spent decades of his life after 1922 or of his final resting place.

I keep searching.
