Kennedy Family 1850's Freestone

I'm cross posting this so my apologies if it shows up in the texas and limestone groups.

Ok i'm stumped now.

I have Reuben D Kennedy Sr moved from Pickens County, Alabama (1820 census) in ~Mar 13 1858 (Freestone county deeds record) died Nov 22 1880 (tombstone). Known children: Calvin A Kennedy, Limestone TX born Tuscaloosa Alabama 1851, Died Mexia Texas 1932. Reuben D Kennedy Jr born Aug 18, 1838 in Alabama, died May 3 1885 in Freestone county Texas (well documented history on him, civil war service)

If anyone can help here is where im stuck. Reuben D was a pioneer of Freestone County, the first deed I see him on is the first page in the oldest book in the county. I also believe they lived in Pickens county Alabama, though most census records point to South Carolina as his birthplace. He married Elizabeth "Eliza" J Nelson born Jun 11 1812 (Believed to be North Carolina) died Mar 17 1885 in Freestone County Texas.

I believe that Andrew Jackson Kennedy born Dec 29 1829 in Georgia, Died May 4 1874 in Freestone County, Texas. is also Reuben D Sr's son but I'm not sure that Eliza J Nelson's son (she would have been 17) Also the 1830 census on Reuben D in Pickens County, Alabama has 2 males <5 years, 2 males 5<10 years, 1 male 30<40 (Reuben Himself) 1 female <5 years, 1 female 20<30 years (Not Eliza who would have been 8).

I have Eliza and Reuben on Calvin D's death certificate, and another 'relative' of C.A. named Ora Andrew Everett (born Kennedy) where he is mentioned in her Obituary. Her Death Certificate mentions that she is the daughter of Andrew Jackson Kennedy and Nancy DeJournette, who are buried in Cotton Gin, Freestone, TX as mentioned above).

Cant locate Reuben D Kennedy in the 1820 census (may be due to alabama becoming a state in 1819 or because he was living with parents/relatives).

I also believe that Reuben D may have gone by Reub or RD, and that these people may be children (deed record of his passing, note there may be badly spelled names, the book is pretty fuzzy):

William H Kennedy
- Heirs noted as: Elbert Kennedy,Henry Kennedy, Joptha Kennedy, Palmie Madrie, Mattie Leong

Mary J Kennedy Storey (married to James Martin storey - I have some of the storey information. just not sure she's his daughter JM Storey was partners with Calvin A Kennedy in mexia I beleive)

Lucy Lee Kennedy Freeman (married to BF Freeman, i have lots of that again just unclear as to her relationship with the family)

E. D. Kennedy (noted as deceased in 1885)
Heir - Nournie Kennedy

Also Reuben & Katie Kennedy are noted as Heirs of R.D. Kennedy Jr and guardianship given to L J Farrar (a man).

If you see this and know anything about anyone in here please let me know. I have lots of information on Calvin, as I'm his direct descendant. Otherwise I'm stuck big time trying to get before R D Sr.

Thank you in advance.
