Charlie and wife Lula Griffin is in the 1900 F.C. TX. census - Precinct 1 (pg 124A) (#125/#125):

Charlie Griffin Aug 1876 married 0 yrs TX LA LA Farmer
Lula Griffin Jan 1871 married 0 yrs; 0 kids; TX AL AL

Their marriage is in F.C. TX Marriage Book 6:
Charlie Griffin and Lottie Hicks on 17 Dec 1899 by E. J. Brown

I would get a copy of the actual license from the Freestone county museum in Fairfield for more data on their parents.

Possible descendants:
Bobbie Jean (Winn) Griffin's obit in Fairfield Recorder of
Thursday March 09, 2006 mentions funeral services in Teague and son of Charlie. There was a Miss Lula Griffin that was school teacher in Teague in 1906.
