Looking for information on Lewis Franklin Smith 1842 - 1924, married to Martha Izora Butler 1853-1906. Lewis Franklin was a son of Samual Foster Smith of Desoto parish, La. Oskar Manor Smith, my grandfather, was a son of Lewis Franklin. I have also done reasearch on the Carroll family of Desoto parish that moved to Freestone co. These 2 familys intermarried frequently.
