Needing help with Cotton Gin Cemetery Please
Posted by: Debra LaMel (ID *****4944) Date: June 23, 2007 at 13:19:28

I am in search of the person who did the survey for the Cotton Gin Cem if possible

there is a man listed as S W Sims with a death date listed as 11-23-1828 however it says CSA No Marker on the inventory listing

I beleive this to be Simeon Oswald White Sims the brother to my gggrandmother Mattie Martha Sims
Ther parents being Richard C Sims (Buried Mt Antioch) and Elizabeth Ann White Sims (buried compton Cem outside Crawford TX)

I need to know if the date should of been 11-18-1928
that is the date listed in the Texas Death Index for Simeon Sims spelled Simmion Sims

Or was this the Samuel W Sims married to a Martha on the 1920
Freestone Co TX census
this could possibly be Simeon Sims his grandfather was named Samuel.
If this is Simeon he had another wife.
Simeon Oswald White Sims married Josephine Rebecca Kimball
Josephine's brother Washington Lafayette Kimball married Simeon's sister Mattie Martha Sims

Any help would be greatly appreciated at all.
