Freestone County communities

Freestone County Genealogical Society is collecting histories of the communities in our county for publication. Many are now considered ghost towns and are no longer on the maps. If you or someone you know would like to contribute, please respond by 15 August 2006.

These histories do not have to be elaborate or lenghty. Some communities may only have a sentence or two stating it had a school or store.

You may respond by email freestonefrontiers@yahoo.com or mail to FCGS, P.O. Box 14, Fairfield, Texas 75840.

Thank you for sharing your memories.
