Bryson John Head TN
Addie Wife Sept 1877 22 m 4 TE
Moreus Son June 1897 2 TN
Hettie Daug Sept 1898 1 TN
Parnell baby Nephew Sept 1899 4/12 TX

Neighbor:
Parnell Minus Clayton (my grandfather's uncle)
Virginia Wife

I believe Parnell baby is Dallas Martin Parnell, my uncle. My grandfather was Jacob Bentley Parnell. JB married Lorena C. Martin March 3, 1895 in Freestone Co. She died in childbirth May 4, 1896. JB married Armytte (Mittie) Martin 1898 in Albany, Shackelford Co., TX. The wedding photo was taken in Mexia, TX by the same photographer who did JB and Lorena wedding photo. Dallas Martin was born September 23, 1899. We have searched for years for Mittie and JB Parnell 1900 census without success. Our guess now is that JB & Mittie left baby Parnell in Clayton Minus Parnell care for some reason. Mrs Bryson had a year old daughter and could have nursed baby Parnell. We have also wondered if Brysons and Parnell families were related. We think Lorena Martin was born Freestone Co. June 27, 1870 and Mittie was born in Sweetwater, Noland Co TX 1869. No census in Noland Co in 1870 because it was territory. We know very little about my grandmother Mittie.
Any hand down stories or facts would be very welcome. OK to email any ideas.
Thanks,
John Parnell
