I would like to know who they are by first names since some are are listed by initials, who their parents were, etc. because there could be a connection to my Banister's.
My Banister's were "next door" in Hunt and Red River Counties. I found Balaam(1838-After 1870-Hunt Co, TX) and Margaret Harvey Banister in Red River Co in the 1870 Federal Census, along with his parents James(1810-After 1870-Hunt Co, TX) & Mary Wright Banister. They migrated from Caldwell Parish, LA. Balaam's father was also named Balaam (b. abt. 1775) He was listed in the 1800 Federal census in Abbeville, SC.
Quite a few years ago my Uncle Roy Banister and Paul Banister participated in the Banister DNA Project. (Paul's line migrated after the 1800 Fed. Census to Abbeville, SC. I think from VA.) They were a perfect match on all markers. Now we have 10 males who are all a match. We know we are related but do not know our common ancestor.
