Daniel D. Brown, James H. Brown, 1850 Census

The 1850 Federal census of Franklin County enumerated Daniel D. Brown, HOH, 32, born Louisiana, with James H. Brown, 30, born Mississippi, both single, and Mary Glenn and her children in his home. Can anyone identify these Brown men? And, why was Mary Glenn in the home? Was she nee' Brown?
