William G. Nolan married Ann Elizabeth Mason in 1844 in Mississippi. Do you have more information about them? I do not know very much about what happened after that, but I will share what I know. Ann Elizabeth is the daughter of my ancester, Samuel Mason Jr. and Mary "Polly" Searcy Mason, who moved from Warren Co. Miss to Fort Bend Texas in the 1840s. In the 1850 Texas in Austin County (next door to Fort Bend), Samuel Mason has in his househould Ann Nolen, and two of her children, Francis and Rosanna. I believe there is a Frank Nolen also in 1870 in the Fort Bend county census living with Mary "Polly" Mason, after Samuel's death. I estimate their birth dats as 1846 for Rosanna and 1849 for Francis based on the 1850 Census. The girl may not have lived to adulthood; I don't know what happened to Francis after 1870. I don't know when Ann Elizabeth died or where she is buried, or anything about her husband. I have lots of Mason information however, both before and after that generation.
