I am looking for information about Dr. John McQuincy Weston who served as Surgeonfor Terry's Texas Rangers.
Born Sept. 16, 1834 in Columbia, SC.
He resided in Fort Bend County, Texas.
He enlisted with company H of Terry's Texas Rangers (8th Texas Cavalry, CSA) in Houston during Sept. 1861 at age 28.
He was Chief Surgeon of the Regiment by Dec. 1861.
He resiggned on April 22, 1862 due to ill health.
Any information about him at all would be most appreciated.
