Fisher County birth records

Hi. I am looking for information on some missing family birth records prior to 1900. One in particular was in Fisher county. I have heard tale that there was a courthouse fire and many records were lost. I haven't been able to find out any information about this said fire and was looking for someone who might know or have any information about this. Any help is very much appreciated.
