Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Was Josie Baird a teacher? The name strikes a bell and I can't remember if it was at school (Rotan) or if she was perhaps a member of the Church of Christ in Rotan where my grandmother, Adelle Bickerstaff, attended. I've got to find a FHC close to me. I did see a copy of the Fisher County History by the Bairds in a local library. Are any of them still available for purchase? Regards, Sue Bickerstaff Gillispie
