Here are the citations of Coufals in the Fayette County History Book.

Evelinka Drizga reports her grandfather was Frantiska Coufal 1876-1947, no mention of a wife. Vol 2, pg 97, family #230

Wesley Lange, b. 31 Mar 1921, m. Violet Coufal, she d. 31 Dec 1983.
Vol 2, pg 258, family #604

Harvey Trebig m Elizabeth Coufal, no date given but the text is in present terms......they have, etc etc...
Vol 2, pg 487, family #1139

Listed as some of the early members of the Fayetteville Church of Christ were...Alex and Leana Coufal Wied, Theresa Coufal Ross, Mrs. Frank Coufal.

Mr. Frank Coufal, who owned the land on both sides of the road at the creek where the bridge was built, told them that because of the flooding of the creek that this bridge would be a problem at this location and sure enough, the ends of the bridge washed out frequently. 1915-1924
