Karger, Karges, Klastermeyer 1850-1900

The 1880 and 1900 census show one William Karger (most on-line transcriptions read "Karges") as a furniture dealer in LaGrange. In 1850, William Karger and my gr-gr-grandfather Hermann Wille both boarded with the C.W. Klastermeyer family in Fayette County, TX. All household members were born in Germany, including the two boarders.

Can anyone identify the location or any record of the Karger/Karges furniture store in 1900 LaGrange? Any Fayette County gravesites of Karger/Karges or Klastermeyer family members? Any relatives of either?

(My goal is to determine whether Hermann Wille immigrated with a group. And, if so, what his relationship was to them.)

Thank you.

T.I. Farmer
