Garza in Fayette County?
Posted by: Mary Molina Cole (ID *****5705) Date: October 04, 2002 at 14:21:54

My grandparents, Seferino Garza and Saturnina "Lina" Maldonado, raised their family in Fayette County, near Weimar. They died in the 30s and are buried at Holman. Their children were Ascension, Maria, Antonia, Sara, Antonio, Marcimiliana (Martha), Federico, Ignacia, Luz and Carlos (Charlie) who were twins, Maximiliano (Max), Marciano (Morris), and Angelita. I have located the families of all but three -- Ascension, Maria, and Ignacia. I think Ascension was born about 1901. Ignacia was born about 1912 and died in Wharton, and Maria I have nothing. I can't find any connections to these sisters and all the other siblings are now gone and none of the children of the siblings know anything about their aunts. I have gone as far as I can on my Garza family tree, but it is not complete without knowing what happened to these sisters. Any clue is welcome.
