I'm looking for sources regarding Robert Alexander Shepperd b. 1819 GA moved to AL in the 1830's and came to TX before 1850 settling in Upshur County. He married Louisa Ann Hagen b. abt 1829 AL. They had four children: Elisha William Thomas, Martha, Addison, and Malcom Kinmore. Robert died in Falls County TX in 1870. There is a listing of R. A. Shepherd buried in Covington Cemetery in Falls County but I have not been able to verify that this is him. I have copies of him on the 1850 Census of Upshur County and the 1860 Census of Upshur County. Malcom and Addison are in the Falls County 1870 Census living next to door to a Hagen family (relatives?) and working as farm laborers for the Coursey Family. Any and all help appreciated.

Kerry Acker Monahans TX (descendant of Malcom Kinmore Shepperd)
