Fred - Thank you for asking. Willie Bee Rountree was my Grandmother. Willie Bee Rountree was born January 13, 1911 in Morrisville, Texas and died September 24, 1977 in Pasadena, Texas. She married my Grandfather Robert William Parnell on August 18, 1928. He was born August 14, 1909 in Lott, Texas and died June 20, 1999 in Greenville, Texas. When I was growing up I spent a lot of time with my Grandparents. My Grandparents had three children, two sons and a daughter. My father, the second son and mother lived in Pasadena at that time. Genealogy is such a wonderful way to make history personal. In history the country in the 1930ís was in a depression and for the betterment of my Grandparents family they left the farm in Eddy, Texas and moved to the big city. My Grandfather's family moved to Dallas and Houston. My Grandfather and Grandmother chose Houston. You may email me at dlilly98@yahoo.com. Forgive me for not asking sooner, but how do you connect to the Asher family. My family does not have information on this part of our family. Thank you again for asking about my family I was able to remember so many wonderful and funny times we had together with your inquiry. Donna
