Donna,

My grandmother grew up in Marlin. In fact, she and my mother were just in Marlin from Sunday through Tuesday for my grandmother's sister's funeral. St. Paul's Church is still there, in fact that is where my great-aunt Olga and many other family members are buried. St. Paul's in now affiliated with the United Church of Christ, but Mother says that the church was Lutheran in the 1920s/1930s when my grandmother was growing up. So yes, there is a cemetery there, but I could not tell you if Rev. Deislinger and his wife are buried there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Teresa Burns
