Because of when they died (1883-1884) you won't find a death certificate. You might find a notice of their death in some publication concerning Erath or Comanche county. The Barbee Cemetery is located next to Comanche county just inside the Erath County line. I don't believe that the listing for the cemetery is on the internet. Mine is just a personal ongoing project. I am trying to connect all the families buried there. Out of the 994 buried there, I have found that 680 are connected by blood or marriage, so far. If you tell me the name of the people the children were sent to live with, I might find them in my database. Let me know if I can help.
