I'm hoping someone here can help me. I recently found my Great Great Grandfather had been shot dead by his son in law James A Felker.
Below are links to the newspaper articles, and the death certificate.
Being a 'son in law' by all accounts when the shooting occured in 1913, I was curious to find an online record showing James A Felker married Dona Felker (maiden name Walker) in 1917, in El Paso, TX. This was years after he shot her father dead. I don't know if the document is just in error...or if perhaps they divorced, but later reconciled. They show as being married and in the same H/H in 1920, and still married, but living separately (due to work?) in 1930.
Does anyone know if there are any El Paso records on line where I can try to authenticate this.
