I'm not 100% sure, but that's one of the reason why I really need the obituary (besides the great details they usually include). I got the death date and place from the SSDI (as you did). The birth date and name matched my records, said it was issued in IL, where she was married and lived for a while, and I do know that she later relocated to El Paso along with her daughter (and her granddaughter was born there). I'm not sure why the middle initial in the Texas Death Index is showing as C, but I'm thinking maybe because her maiden name is Campbell - sometimes people do that instead of their real middle initial. Anyway, as you can see, there were way too many coincidences, so I'm reasonably sure I have the right person. But I won't be 100% sure until I'm able to track down her obituary.
