Can you please run another search in the birth records for me, or direct me there?
I found another photo (of my father's girlfriend) hidden in back of another in a frame.
Her name was Frances Zapien.
It was taken April of 1943, but dated Feb 16, 1944.
She signed it "In rememberance, for a good friend, D. Carrizal of F. Zapien." (in Spanish of course)
I found NO Frances Zapien nor Frances Sapien listed in the 1920 US census.
She may have been born, or migrated afterwards.
She gave birth to my father's son around that time period, Feb 1944 up until his discharge on Sept 19, 1945.
My guess is nine months after the photo date. Nov 1944?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Kathleen Carrizal-Frye
