Yes, I have Harve's death certificate. That is how I learned where he was buried and that he died at the Veteran's Hospital in Big Spring, TX. I have been unable to find a death record for his brother Edward H."Ed" "Eddie" Evans born Dec. 1885 in Hill Co., TX to William and Doxie Evans. He is listed in the 1910 Hardin Co., TX census in the HH of his brother Robert E. Evans. He also worked in the oil fields along with brothers Robert and Harve. I have not found him in the 1920 and 1930 census. My thinking is that he must have been killed in an accident and probably does not have a monument. Also cannot find a record of Harve's parents death. His mother Doxie Ann Evans b 1846 in AL died after Jan. 1889 and before 1900 census. His father William Evans b. 1820 in TN died after 1900 census and before 1910. Both probably died in Hubbard, Hill Co. TX.

If you have resources available that you can check, I would appreciate it. Please do not spend a lot of time on this because I really think it is hopeless.

Louise
