Greetings Bev,
I saw your posting and all the census stuff that Alice sent you is right. Alice helped me with my Morton's who are connected to the McKinnons who are connected to the Lighfoot's.
Thomas Jefferson Lightfoot 1824-1892 m. Temperance Jordan McKinnon 1832-1899(?), her niece Sarah Frances McKinnon m. Dr.John Robert Morton, my grandmother's aunt and uncle.
Henry and Lillie Madora Shelton m. in 1895 (Ga. or Tx?) As far as I can tell they first live in Eastland Co. then by 1910 Nolan Co. and then by 1920 Bexar Co. and also there in Bexar Co. in 1930. (Dr.John Robert and Sarah Frances Morton lived in Bexar in 1910, she was a teacher.)

Henry McKinnon Lighfoot 17 June 1869 Thomas Co.Ga.
Lillie Madora Shelton 1868 Tenn.

Henry and Lillie's children;

Henry Clarence July 1896 Eastland Co. Texas
John Cornelius "Neil" Sept 1897 Eastland Co.
Thomas Owen Nov 1898 Eastland Co.
Clara Bell 1900 Eastland Co.
Eugenia F. 1902 Eastland or Nolan Co.
Anna J. 1904 Eastland or Nolan Co.
Clyde Wyatt 1906 Eastland or Nolan Co.
Lorella L. 1909 poss. Eastland most likely Nolan Co.

There were many doctor's and many teacher's in the McKinnon, Lighfoot and Morton families.
