Rosalin, do you find the listings of the "Guest" families
listed in the Davidson Cemetery? I've been finding recent information, that leads me to believe that the Guest buried there are my kin. My dad's mother's maiden name was Guest, and her dad was William (Bill) Guest. She died in 1936 in Strawn, Tx., and all it says on her death certificate is Tanner, in the slot marked burial. I don't know if it was the name of the funeral home,or town or what. My mother told me , before she passed away, that she thought it was the name of the cemetery, but I've not found one close to Strawn.
I'm fairly sure that the Guests at Davidson cemetery are her uncles, aunts, cousins and such.
The last information I found on her with her dad was in Washington state in 1900, but she came back to Texas. I'm not sure if her dad did also or not. I figured if he happened to be buried in the Davidson Cemetery, that she may have been as well. Her name was Dicie Elizebeth Guest Allen.
Thanks for anything you may find. Best regards, Dave.
