I think the photograph my mother has of the Eppler House was taken c. 1910, I'm not totally certain. The railroad ran in front or beside the hotel. My great-grandfather is pictured and he and other men are on one of those old push cars, I think he worked for the railroad repairing the tracks, and the Eppler House is in the background. Mother has the photograph but I think I have a scanned image of it on another computer.

I'd love to hear about the Eppler family history. I think it would make a great addition to my family collection. Does you wife by chance have any of the old registers with visitors names?
