Descendant database for John Peek AL-LA-TX

The following address is for my database of the descendants of John Peek. He was born in Alabama in 1814. Was married twice and had a least fifteen children. His first wife's name is unknown, but his second wife, whom he married between 1855 and 1860, was Charlotte Caroline Lankford/Langford.

A few of his descendants from his first marriage carried the name spelling of Peak, while those from his second marriage spelled their names Peek. John moved from somewhere in Alabama to Caddo Parish, LA where he lived from 1860 to 1870, then on to McLennan Co, TX where he died in 1900.

His children lived in these and other TX counties: McLennan, Kent, Camp, Erath, Eastland, Travis, Harris, and Wood. One son remained in Caddo Pa., LA for his lifetime.

John has a great number descendants and I am most happy to list many of them on WorldConnect. If anyone has any questions, additions or corrections I will be most happy to consider all. I look forward to all cousin contacts.

Thanks, Diana
