I've done some research on the Eastland Co TX Nolens, but believe there must have been two separate lines. My gr-gr-grandfather was also named William M Nolen (no idea what the M stood for, unless it was McConnellr.) He was born in TN---supposedly. Haven't proved that to date. He married Martha M Revis Dec 23, 1866, in White Co TN and among their children was my gr-grandmother, Mary Jane "Molly Ann" Nolen. Her older brother Charles M Nolen and his wife Athie Kizziar Nolen moved from Garland Co AR to Eastland Co around the beginning of or just before 1900. Both are buried in Gorman Cemetery. I located some of their children still living, but they knew of no connection with the other Nolens there. If you find a connection, I'd appreciate hearing about it---will be happy to share any info I have.
