My grandfather, Fred(Frederick) McLean,(born sept. 1917/1916) moved to Canada in 1941, from the Benavides area, Duval county, Texas. There he married my grand mother before going overseas with his Canadian regiment during WW2. He was killed in battle in 1942. My grandmother gave birth to my mom shortly after and we know little of his background. His parents names were Pete/Peter and Yvonne (Delys) Mclean. He also had a brother named Thomas McLean.I am looking for anyone who may know of this family. There is no record in any census.

Facts in brief:

-my grandfather: Fred/ Frederick McLean, born abt 1916
-his brother: Thomas McLean died in Mexico 1941/42
-my great grandfather: father: Pete/ Peter McLean
-my great Grandmother: Yvonne ? maybe DeLys?
