I have finally found time to sit down and sort thru the family info I have on Canales. I think I had the wrong info at the time of my first post.
I have Anastacio Canales, b abt. 1850 immig. 1889 or 1877 to TX. m. Librada G Hinojoza abt 1883 she was b. abt. 1861 so I wonder if she was his second wife. Both born in Mex. I have their children born: Samuel 1889,Placido 1894, Alfredo 1891, Leopoldo 1895, Jesus or Jesusa 1898, Csau 1899, Antonio 1902, Casemido 1904, jose 1907, Eliza 1897, Glessria 1885. all born in TX
Placido m. Eudilia Elizondo ( this is my line.) Found census on all of the above and some death cert.s I have this line in Karnes county, Duval and finally in Laredo, Texas and also in Mex.
I wonder- did Jose Evaristo Canales have a brother? Named Anastacio?I as wondering if anyone has uncovered any additional info on the line I am researching, or if in your research you happen to run across this line?
