Addenda: Actually, I'd like to contact ANYONE who has information on William and Elizabeth. Some corrections to my query: In 1850 the family was the first household on the Jackson County census, but they were in DeWitt County in 1852 at Pierpont Place. Elizabeth was Elizabeth Austin, but she was married to Thomas F. L. Parrott before Pierpont. (I wrote Parrot's biography in the New Handbook of Texas.) For more details, see my query and responses on the Pierponts on GenForum's Texas Genealogy Forum. Would a DeWitt Co. researcher check to see if either William or Elizabeth filed a will or if their estates were probated in DeWitt County? Thanks in advance!
