Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I don't know about Robert but my grandfather would have. John Hotz & Emily Luder Hotz were my great-grandparents, so I guess that makes him a distant cousin to me. My grandfather Henry was born to John & Emily in 1900. His elder sister Mamie (Mary) was born in 1895 and lived with them until Emily died in 1939. Mamie passed away about 15 years ago but I'll bet she would have known something about Robert. I'll ask my mother, keeper of all Mamie's records, if she has ever heard of him.
