William (Bill) Taylor was Jim Taylor's cousin, not his brother. Jim's father was Pitkin Taylor, murdered by the Suttons. Bill Taylor's father was James Henry Taylor, Pitkin's youngest brother. Both James Henry and his wife died young, when Bill was two years old. He Probably was raised in his uncle Pitkin's household.
