We microfilmed records concerning Samuel Cunningham in DeWitt County. His wife Ellen was declaring him unfit to manage his own affairs. He was not sent away or anything but I guess she became in charge. I do know where there is an unmarked grave of Sam Cunningham and the decendants around here feel as if it is the correct Sam Cunningham as they had not been able to find his grave either. There are two decendants living here in Hochheim. How much they know is not known but there is a chance. The time period you mention is about right for this lost Sam Cunningham. Jeane
