Searching for any descendants of or information about the family of John Levi HARE m. Mary Elizabeth ELKINS. John Levi HARE was b. 17 Mar 1856 in Leon Co., FL and d. 31 July 1947 in Cuero, DeWitt Co., TX. He was a Primitive Baptist minister. Mary Elizabeth ELKINS was b. 19 Mar 1856 in Decatur Co., GA and d. 25 Aug 1954 in Cuero. They had 11 children:
1. Rufus HARE (b. and d. in Decatur Co., GA)
2. William Young (Willie) HARE
3. James Alexander HARE
4, John Henry HARE
5. Frances Elizabeth (Fanny) HARE
6. Ann Eliza (Annie) HARE
7. George Washington HARE
8. Minnie Levi HARE
9. Ollie Mae HARE
10. Viola Mary HARE (my grandmother)
11. Jesse Blake HARE
