Hi Harold,
All I know is that she was James Monroe Ainsworths first wife. After she passed away he married my grandmother Mary Elizabeth Humpreys, daughter of George Washington Humphreys and Mary Jane. I can't find much info yet on G.W.. Humphreys.
James had a sister named Ann E. Ainsworth born in 1846 and she married James B. Taylor. I'm sure He was a brother to Mary Taylor. Dewitt county was in deeply involved in the Sutton Taylor feud and I'm sure these Taylor's are part of that clan. About 15 years ago I was searching info on James M. Ainsworth and found that a lady in Salt Lake City had had him "sealed" to Mary Taylor for the Mormon church. I didn't pursue this but I'm sure this lady is part of that Taylor clan. - Bob Poole
