Just found out today that my gggrandfather might have been killed in a tornado that hit Denton April 27, 1907. My records have always shown he died in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma, 25 Jun 1907 and that is where he was buried. Would like to know more about the storm that hit Denton County in 1907 and if there is a list of people that were killed during the storm. The 1900 census shows he did live in Denton County, Texas, he was a farmer, and he was married to Ann E. Nell. Is there any place in Denton I can contact for an obit lookup back in 1907???? An obit would be so helpful in proving where he died.
