Hi Carla,
At first I thought the dates behind the names were their birth and death dates but then I realized they were the dates they were judges. A genealogist will need to know when and where they were born to do a search for you.

Have you contacted the Denton County Genealogical Society?
If not, go to They might have a book about the judges.

Also contact the Denton County Historical Commission, .

Go to Google Books and search for a book on Denton County Judges 1846-1892 . Sometimes you can search the entire book on Google Books. If you find one that you can't read online, write down the title, author, etc. Then contact your local library and request that book via inter-library transfer. Takes awhile for the book to come in but it's free. Successful Searching!
