DENTON - Edith M. Walker of Denton, a retired employee at the University of North Texas registrar's office, died Thursday at her home. She was 80.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Park. Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in Denton is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Walker was born in George County, Miss. She was a graduate of North Texas State Teachers College, now UNT. She was a member of the UNT Alumni Association. She was a Methodist.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Ann's Haven Hospice, 216 W. Mulberry St., Denton 76201.
Survivors: Two sisters, Joyce W. Jones of Denton and Dorothy W. Daniel of Lometa.
