Seeking information on my maternal great grandparents, William Lyon and Adelia Davis Lyon of Denton County, TX. 1880 census records show a William and Adeline Lyon, both 34 yoa, residing in Denton County. Their children were listed as Effa Maud Lyons and Dick Lewis & August Cash (stepchildren). The 1870 census shows a William Lyon(s), 23 yoa and single, living with 62 year old Mary J. Lyon(s), possibly his mother. Other information indicates Mary J. may have been Mary Jane Holiday who was married to Huberson Lyon. Does anyone know of these folks? Any/all information appreciated.
