The following sites may be helpful to you. You would contact the City of Dallas if the death occurred inside the City limits.

If the death occurred outside the City of Dallas but in Dallas County you could apply for a death certificate through the Dallas County Clerk.

The deaths may have occurred outside Dallas County but the burial was in Dallas.

You can also order death, birth certificates or verification of birth or death from the state of Texas. Info for this is at:*Main*&url=http%3A//
This site also provides links to other states for similar services.

I located one Sue Guyton on a USGenWeb site in Dallas County death records. She may not be the Sue Guyton for whom you are looking, but here is the info:
Guyton, Sue Miller date of death 2-27-1965 F Married

Have you tried the Social Security Death Index to locate the date of death?
About Oakland Cemetery:

Dallas Genealogical Society
P. O. Box 12446

Hope this helps. If you need further help, let me know.
