A William Youngblood was killed by Indians in Parker Co., (West of Fort Worth) in 1860. He had two sons and a daughter, but I do not know the names.
William was killed and scalped while chopping wood near his house. The Indians were caught, and the scalp was returned just in time for burial in Fondren Cemetery. (His wife was the daughter of William B. Fondren).
